Here are a couple of our favorite places to swim and enjoy the water….
Lake Maratanza- Sam’s Point

Hike around Sams Point Nature Preserve in the Shawangunk Mountains of NY and you will find Lake Maratanza. At the best time of year this crystal clear lake is surrounded by blueberry bushes. The water is tempting and refreshing, although technically swimming is not allowed...
The Peekamoose Blue Hole

At the head of Peekamoose Mountain trail, hidden down a steep hill is the Blue Hole. This swimming spot is over 6 feet deep and very very cold (even on the hottest summer days).
Cinque Terre

Hiking the trails through these 5 cities on the Italian Mediterranean is a life changing experience. Wait for the sunset, find a cliff to sit on, look out over the ocean, and soak up the magic.

The Stone Beach in Riomaggiore- If you can get past the delicious Gelateria and down the winding path, you will arrive at this stone beach. The swimming can be a bit rough, but the vista is stunning and beautiful!
Fountains at the Bellagio- Las Vegas

This man made water feature is an icon of the city for a reason. No matter how cliche, you don't even need to Win Big to appreciate the beauty of the Bellagio Fountains....
Cenote Ikil of Chichen Itza- Mexico
